Laura and Guilherme's wedding took place at Quinta de Santo António do Freixo, in Leiria. Without a doubt, this autumn wedding was marked by many emotions. And not even the occasional rain shook the joy of the bride and groom and their guests. From the preparations to the party, Laura and Guilherme were always surrounded by the love and happiness of friends and family.

Laura and Guilherme both love to read, so they chose the theme "Books" to guide some choices in the wedding decoration. I loved that detail! Scroll to the end to follow the entire story of the day.

Ceremony

Laura and Guilherme had a beautiful ceremony officiated by Amor & Ponto. The ceremony touched upon, in an emotionally engaging yet humorously punctuated manner, how Laura and Guilherme met, started dating, and ultimately got married. Everyone laughed, and many guests were moved.

The ceremony took place at Quinta de Santo António do Freixo, and undoubtedly, the entire setting and decoration contributed to making this wedding even more beautiful. When the newlyweds exited the ceremony and were congratulated by the guests, it was an intense and lovely moment, set against a rustic and elegant green backdrop.

The cake cutting

The cake cutting was original and unconventional. As soon as the newlyweds exited the ceremony, they cut the cake during the daytime.

Couple’s photos

The couple's photo session was held at the venue where the wedding took place. Quinta de António do Freixo boasts several beautiful and special spots. The session was brief, allowing the newlyweds to enjoy the day with their guests, yet providing them with a private record of one of the most important days of their lives.

Decoration

The decoration was entrusted to Epoca Florist, known for crafting the most beautiful flower arrangements. Some touches were inspired by the theme "Books," hence the table names being authors' names and the flower-throwing cones resembling book pages. I truly admired how all these details were seamlessly incorporated.

The party

The party was divided into two parts. First, during the cocktail hour, the band Baila Maria was responsible for the music. Baila Maria did an absolutely incredible job with live music. They're a band full of rhythm and excitement, ensuring some truly fun moments. In the second phase of the party, after dinner, DJ Música Improvável knew how to read the dance floor very well, always ensuring the right music for the right moment.
